Abbie will be discussing fly fishing techniques and tricks for all seasons (May – October) on Martha's Vineyard.  She will be fishing the flats and rips for striped bass, bluefish, bonito and false albacore--- discussing each season and the fish that come with it! Abbie considers Martha's Vineyard a special fishery and is excited to share it with us! 

Fly fishing is something Abbie has done her entire life, which is why the word Kismet spoke to her when naming her business. Owning and running an outfitter is her destiny. Her passion and knowledge lie in fly fishing. She was born and raised in New England and grew up fishing New England waters. She learned to fish on Martha's Vineyard when she was young and also spent many years fishing the rivers and small creeks of Maine, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.

She attended the University of Montana, which only fueled her fly-fishing addiction, so it was a natural choice for her to become a fly-fishing guide. In 2011, after completing Sweetwater Guide School, she started guiding in Montana and, since then, has not looked back. She has guided in Washington and Alaska and has fished waters abroad. She feels strongly that nothing is better than giving her clients the gift of fly fishing. Every trip with Abbie provides an opportunity not only to catch fish but to expand and grow her client's knowledge. Abbie aims to have every client leave with lifelong memories, a stronger passion for fly fishing and conservation, and a greater understanding of the sport.
