Cape Cod Trout Unlimited -- Fly Fishing School 2026

New to fly fishing and interested to learn more? Join experienced instructors from Cape Cod Trout Unlimited to learn about every aspect of fly fishing during this fun, two-day immersive fly fishing program. For nearly forty years, Cape Cod Trout Unlimited has provided education to anglers about fishing techniques and conservation in an effort to help people become better anglers and stewards of nature. 

 

During this two-day event, instructors will cover the basics of rigging tackle as well as knot tying, casting, fly tying, catch & release techniques, and how to present flies to fish in fresh and saltwater. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from some of the most dedicated and talented anglers on the Cape. 

 

Cape Cod Trout Unlimited will provide lunch and light refreshments both days. Participants are advised to bring waders and wading boots since the program does try to get "on the water" during the first day.  No refunds will be provided after April 17, 2026. Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a registered adult.
