Do you have an old bamboo fly rod that you would like to learn more about?

John Friend and Joe Swaluk would like to invite you to our cane rod outing on Nov. 12 at 9 am.

We will meet at Hamblin Pond in Marstons Mills where John and Joe will have several cane rods for you to try.

If you have an old cane rod you inherited or found, bring it along to try. We will endeavor to help you determine if it is collectable.

Bring your waders and who knows---you might even catch a trout on a cane rod.
