This December 11th we will have our annual Holiday Party again at the Canandaigua American Legion at 6:30pm. Come celebrate with your fishing buddies with some good food and beverages, funny videos and our White Elephant Gift Exchange.
We are also going to celebrate our Victory in the TU Embrace a Stream Challenge that just concluded. Canandaigua Lake finished first among nine chapters in both total amount raised and number of donors. We finished ahead of much bigger chapters in the Boston and Philadelphia area. The Naples Creek Reconnection Project is the only EAS project in New York this year. This is the second Embrace a Stream Grant that Canandaigua Lake has received since 2020.
We will also be holding a raffle for prizes large and small. Just about everyone who attends will win something.
To participate in the White Elephant exchange, please bring a wrapped present that is somewhat related to fishing. The more unusual the gift, the more fun the event is. Don't spend more than $20 on a gift. Re-gifting is perfectly acceptable! Forgot to bring a gift? Santa will help you find something in our raffle stash. Click here for the semi-official rules.
