Randy Hicks, owner of Rocky Mountain Anglers in Boulder Colorado presents "EXPLORING THE SOUTH FORK OF BOULDER CREEK"

Randy Hicks is the owner of Rocky Mountain Anglers in Boulder Colorado.  Moving to Colorado in 1995 he was planning on only staying just for the summer, but the immediate possibilities for fly fishing made it tough to leave.  About 2003 he became one of the first guides for Rocky Mountain Anglers, and by the year 2010 he started to manage the shop.  It was 2014 when he becamee the owner and Randy considers himself extremely lucky to get to enjoy his passion as his career.  He owes much of his passion and knowledge of water and the outdoors to his father who always took him on trout, salt, or other fishing trips with friends and family.  Favorite rivers include : The Yampa, the Fraser, the South Saint Vrain, and of course South Boulder Creek.  One thing he/ we enjoy is teaching and sharing with others this great sport that is always right out the back door.  Other interests include:  Cooking(I’m pretty good), mountain Biking( I suck), and Fly Tying( I have a few flies I’m decent at).
