Broad Brook Tree Planting

November 15, 2026
10am

42 White Oaks Road, Williamstown, MA

Meet at the Broad Brook Trailhead (top of White Oaks Road, Williamstown) to plant over 250 native trees and shrubs where the Broad Brook Dam was removed this fall.
This tree planting is the next step in the 5 year monitoring of the former dam space.
The removal of the dam has restored over 20 miles of brook trout habitat and given space for the river to ebb and flow and create her own path.

This is a rain or shine event.
Wear clothes that can get dirty and sturdy shoes that can get wet.
Bring shovels/trowels, and gloves if you would like.
Snacks and Coffee from Wild Soul River will be provided.
