Boy Scouts Spring Camporee Volunteer Event

Join Overmountain Trout Unlimited as we volunteer with the Boy Scouts at their Spring Camporee at Tipton Haynes State Historic Site in Johnson City where the event theme is about developing survival skills for a zombie apocalypse! We will set up our booth at the event, talk about trout & conservation, and do activities with the scouts such as fly casting or fly tying (necessary skills in a zombie apocalypse). We are looking for a handful of volunteers to run the morning shift (9-12:30) and afternoon shift (1-4:30) who are willing to help teach these scouts about fly fishing and conservation. You don't need to be an expert to help out!
