Join us to celebrate a year of conservation, community, and fun!!!
Bluegrass Trout Unlimited is excited to announce the first chapter banquet since 2020. We have had a busy 2023 with the finalization of our Embrace a Stream Project, and the creation of an outdoor classroom at Veterans Park. This space is open for local schools to teach about riparian areas, native species, and urban environmentalism. We've continued staple events like our Casting Class at West Sixth Farm, Pint Nights at Rock House Brewing and Wise Bird, Trout In the Classroom, and many West Hickman Creek Cleanups. We’ve brought the International Fly Fishing Film Tour back to the Kentucky Theater this past spring. And finally we hosted a few new events like our Cumberland River Rendezvous in September .
With so many events new and old the banquet is the perfect time to recap our work in 2023. But also to listen to speakers like Ben Roberson of Guide Book Co, talk about his new and upcoming guide finding service. As well as participate in both our raffle, and auction for awesome prizes including multiple guided fishing trips, products from local businesses, and tickets to next year's film festival! The banquet will be hosted at Wise Bird Cider Company and catered by The Rolling Fork. We will start the event at 6:30pm and it will run to around 9:30 on November 2nd. So get your fishing buddies or families together, buy your tickets down below, and come celebrate the amazing work this chapter has done this year!!!
