Every River Needs A Champion and you can help!

Please join the supporters and members of Boulder Flycasters, Rocky Mountain Flycasters, and St. Vrain Anglers Chapters of Trout Unlimited as we clean up and make the habitat better along the Upper Canyon of the Big Thompson River. This event is sponsored by Arbor Anglers Fly Shop in Lafayette. This event is free and open to all whether you're a member or not! Feel free to register and bring friends, colleagues, and family members. Since the volunteers will be working in the parking areas and pull-outs on Highway 34 all volunteers should be over the age of 16 or accompanied by an adult. Please register ("purchase" a free ticket) in advance so we are prepared with coffee, donuts, water, clean up gear, etc.

Event date: Saturday May 16, 2026

Event time: 8:45am-12pm MT

Event location: Estes Park Visitors Center, 500 Big Thompson Ave., across the street from the McDonalds. We will be on the east side of the visitors’ center in the parking lot and we will have sign-in tables set up so we will be easy to find.

What to bring: Appropriate clothing & footwear, hats, waders / wading boots if available, sunscreen and bug spray. Bring your rod and gear to fish afterwards! It's time for a new 2026 fishing license :-).

We will provide: Nitrile gloves, trash bags, trash grabbers as well as coffee, water, and snacks.
