There's nothing better than joining friends and neighbors to take care of a river we all love!
Join TU's Battenkill Home Rivers Initiative on Saturday, September 30th at 10:00am for a tree planting event along this historic and important coldwater river.
We'll be working in Cambridge, NY adjacent to a recently completed strategic wood addition project. Feel free to bring your rod and wet a fly after the event!
TU tree plantings are great ways to engage the entire family - so bring out your kids and grandkids and help teach them the importance of working together as a community to care for and recover our rivers and streams.
We'll have some tools available, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves, shovels, and water bottles.
*Note: You will be contacted the day before the planting with more information on where to park.
