Beat the heat and join us on our annual summertime smallmouth bass trip to the Housatonic River!
If you've never been bass fishing on the river, its a blast! Big, aggressive smallmouth will be sure to keep your rod bent for most of the day!
Meet us at noon in the parking lot at Housatonic River Brewing, and we'll hit the river from there! We'll be heading to Sega Meadows Park, a short drive away and a beautiful stretch of river with several deep pools and runs.
Once we we're done fishing at 4 pm, don't forget to join us back at Housatonic River Brewery for a beer or two!
This type of fishing trip is perfect for anglers of all ages and skill levels. No waders necessary - just bring a good pair of wet wading boots or shoes! Bass fishing on the Housy is a great introduction to fly fishing perfect for kids and families.
If you need a rod, let us know! We'll have several outfits for you to borrow.
