Join us at the ECO Center in Rome for our monthly chapter gathering!

These meetings are open to all whether you're a member or not! - Feel free to bring friends, colleagues, and family members.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner ($5 donation), refreshments, networking and fishing advice. The presentations typically start at around 6:30 p.m. following brief remarks and updates from the chapter. Our speaker this month is Rodney Tumlin, Chairman of the Georgia Council of Trout Unlimited. He will be presenting on youth education programs with Trout Unlimited. Rodney is the recipient of TU's national 2026 Education Award. He started the first high school TU 5 Rivers Club in the nation at Paulding High School and ran a Trout in the Classroom program there as an AP Environmental Studies teacher. He is a long time member and past-president of the Cohutta Chapter, now enjoying retirement and running the Georgia Council of TU. This would be a great meeting to attend if you are an educator looking for an interactive learning program to add to you classroom or college/HS student/faculty looking to start a fly fishing club.

These events are a great opportunity to meet fellow anglers and conservationists, as well as learn a thing or two about local fishing opportunities and exciting projects we're working on!
