Details

We will have one fall stocking event this year. It will take place on Friday, October 16th and we need volunteers to help us with this process. We will be stocking in Oakland, Glen Gray Rd. , The Ramapo Reservation, Halifax Road and Stag Hill Road.

We will meet at the Glen Grey parking lot on Glen Grey rd in Oakland, NJ.@ 9:30 am. The stocking truck usually arrives between 10 & 10:30, and we are finished between 12 & 1pm.

There are several different methods which are used to stock the fish.

~ Volunteers will hand carry buckets, which weigh approximately 35 lbs, to transport the fish.

~ we have a cart that can be used to transport multiple buckets to a location

~ we have coolers with aerators that we fill with fish and transfer them into buckets for distribution

Refreshments will be provided for the volunteers and EJTU members will also earn points.
