Aquatic Insect Monitoring with The Salmonfly Project
Details
If you're available, please consider signing up to help them in the field!
When: Monday, September 21 from 9am-5pm
No previous scientific experience is required to volunteer - only the ability to wade confidently in knee-deep water while carrying nets and supplies. Volunteers will help SFP staff sample aquatic insects, while learning about aquatic insect ecology and identification. A minimum of 4 hours is required to allow sufficient time for training, but volunteers are asked to stay for an entire 8-hour day, if possible. Please bring your own waders, boots, and other basic supplies (e.g., food, water, sunscreen).
