It’s that time of year again when thoughts turn to the turning of the seasons and the coming of fall. What would that season be without a trip to Steelhead country? Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or this is your first time up, this is the trip for you.

We will be staying at the Fox Hollow Lodge in Almar, NY on the banks of the famous Salmon River. Although some anglers will come up for the full 4 days we will have a smaller cabin available for those that wish to come up just for the weekend.

The Salmon River is out the back door but some anglers have intimate knowledge of various local tribs if fishing conditions allow. These smaller streams can fish well and oftentimes are less crowded. If you’ve been interested in giving this fishery a try, this is the trip for you.

The cost for the trip is $60 a night. We often eat together in the larger cabin so bring your favorite dish to share for dinner. We’ll coordinate that when we know who’s coming. The lodge does not supply bedding so please bring your own.
