Our annual pig roast is back, thank you Elio. Come to the Catskills and fish the historic streams, the Beaver Kill, Willowemoc, and a bit further the Delaware system. It is a do what you want day - fish in the morning or don't, gather at the Museum around noon for the pig roast and picnic. This is big bug time - March Browns and Green Drakes usually are hatching at this time. Big fish come up for these large bites. If you are not sure where to fish, join us for the picnic and get some guidance. Are you new to fly fishing and need some help with fly fishing skills, casting, knot typing, fly identification or anything else? Our members are happy to help, either before or after lunch. We usually breakup by 2:30 pm to return to the river for the afternoon and evening fishing.
Directions: When you get to the Center's property, take the bridge over the Willowemoc, then make your first right into a large clearing. In the distance is a pavilion where we meet. Park by the trees before you get to the pavilion and come on down.
