Awesome educational activities including; aquatic macro-invertebrates (underwater bugs!) experience, fly casting instruction boater safety, fish ID, Archery range, Laser shoot, fire safety, bear awareness, and much more.The annual Outdoor Expo & Fishing Derby is brought to you by the Gunnison Parks and Recreation Department along with many local businesses and organizations including; Trout Unlimited US Forest Service, BLM, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, West Elk Archers, US National Park Service, Gene Taylors, Amerigas, Elk Creek Marina, Gunnison River Fly Shop, Three Rivers Resort, and many more.
