Please join us online via Zoom for our annual meeting.  Due to the spread of the Omicron variant, we have decided to hold our chapter meeting this month remotely with no in-person option. Since we will be holding elections for the Board of Directors, this meeting is restricted to Trout Unlimited Members in good standing who have paid their dues and are members of the Twin Cities Chapter.  If you received a letter or email inviting you to this event, you qualify!  In order to confirm the attendees, we will be closing registration for the event on January 23rd, so please register early!

The Agenda is as follows:

7:00 Meeting called to order
7:05 Report on 2021 Chapter Membership, Finances and Activities by Chapter President Bob Luck and Treasurer Paul Johnson
7:15 Election of Board Members who have submitted nominations in accordance with our Chapter Bylaws.
Information on the election and the candidates can be found here.
7:30 Presentation on "The State of the State" by John Lenczewski

2021 has been a fruitful and important year for our State Council (MNTU).  We have continued to make progress in Education, Advocacy, and Habitat Improvement.  We have also developed a 5-year strategic plan that will amplify our impact on cold-water conservation, and improve the collaboration between the State Council and local chapters.  John will cover our activities and Strategic Plan, and answer your questions.

John Lenczewski is the Executive Director of the Minnesota Council of Trout Unlimited. He has dedicated his career to cold water conservation, advocating on environmental issues to the state legislature, applying for habitat improvement grants and managing habitat projects throughout the state, and supporting local TU chapters.
