Special Announcement: Due to a family emergency this weekend (3/7-8), Landon is currently out of state and will be joining us virtually on Tuesday. Not to worry, his tips for catching quality trout will be just as effective via Zoom. We will still all meet in person for the event. Twisted Pine has a very good audio-visual system, with a cinema-like screen and sound system.

Join Boulder Flycasters, featuring Landon Mayer, for a memorable evening discovering tips and techniques to improve your year-round fly fishing for trout. You will also be supporting our annual fund raiser for Youth Science Education. Landon Mayer’s angling success is fueled by an addiction to pursuing large trout with small flies and lightweight fly-fishing equipment. He has been guiding in Colorado full time on the South Platte River for the last 23 years. Landon enthusiastically teaches and demonstrates his techniques and on-river knowledge to fellow anglers and has developed innovative strategies for sighting, hooking, and landing selective trout. He will share with us his Year Round Tips for Catching Quality Trout. He is the author of numerous fly fishing books, a frequent contributor to several fly fishing publications, an ambassador in the fly-fishing industry, a royalty fly designer and an advisory team member to many fly fishing equipment and clothing companies. This will be a great evening of unique insights from Landon and camaraderie with your local fly fishing community, along with door prizes and a grand prize donation drawings.

This ticketed event will be hosted by Twisted Pine Brewing. Our sponsors are providing numerous door prizes including rods, reel, guided trip, gear, packs, clothing, and other fun goodies. Your General Admission Ticket includes you in the door prize drawings. There will also be a separate grand prize donation drawing. You must be present to win.

All attendees must have General Admission Ticket. An optional Food Order Ticket is also available. We recommend ordering food in advance as Twisted Pine Brewing has a limited kitchen capacity. However, food tickets will end at 12 noon Monday March 9 to allow for the orders to be fulfilled. Ticket pricing includes credit card processing and service fees. Food Order Tickets are priced at our cost from Twisted Pine.
