Celebrate Aldo Leopold Week by learning about local conservation organizations, listening to a community reading of select essays from the conservation classic A Sand County Almanac, and watching a screening of the Emmy award-winning documentary film Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for our Time, which explores the life and legacy of Wisconsin conservationist Aldo Leopold. Coordinated in partnership with the Aldo Leopold Foundation. Trout Unlimited and Green Bay Trout Unlimited will be participating with fun and educational activities for the local community.
Event schedule:
1:00-2:30 PM- Community Conservation Fair
2:00-2:30 PM- Community essay readings from A Sand County Almanac
2:30-3:30 PM- Film screening of Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time
