Rhode Island Trout Unlimited maintains 2 miles of Rte. 165 by picking up trash on both sides of the road four times per year. Volunteers meet at 10am at the RIDEM Deer Check Station (at the Wood River) to form teams that will cover approximately 1/2 mile of roadside. Safety vests, gloves, bags and trash pickup tools are provided. We meet back at the Check Station for lunch provided by TU.
