West Denver TU is hosting their 45th Annual Fly Tying Clinic at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on March 2, 2024 from 9am to 2pm.
This year’s clinic features:
· 66 locally- and nationally known tyers demonstrating their signature patterns as well as their fly tying tricks and techniques.
· Kid’s activities such as a scavenger hunt for stamps and stickers, a casting area, a “petting zoo”, and more
· Learn to Tie tables where instructors will guide you through tying your first flies
· Build-a-box – purchase a commemorative fly box and fill it with flies tied by your favorite experts
· Bucket raffles, silent auction, and fantasy raffle
Admission is $20. $5 off discount coupons are available at local fly shops. Proceeds from the clinic go to fund WDTU youth activities and restoration projects in the Clear Creek watershed.
