Get ready for the new season! Dust off your equipment. Come on out and knock the rust off! We've found a beautiful location for casting practice. Lots of room for back casts and great pond for target practice. If you'd like advice, just ask. Bring your kids or a friend, especially if they have never tried fly fishing. Its the perfect place to learn.
The Huron Shelter is nearby and that's where the grilling will be. We'll get that started right at 1:00 and then the afternoon is for practice, practice, practice.
Bring your waders....the Huron River is literally steps away. Its easily wadable. There may still be some large trout from the DNR stocking that occurred a couple weeks earlier.
