Annual Summer Picnic on the Banks of the Cohocton River
Join us on Saturday June 7th for our annual Summer Picnic. We will be grilling hamburgers, hotdogs and providing beverages. Bring a side dish or dessert to pass if you would like to. This year's picnic will be at Hees Memorial Park in Avoca, on the banks of the Cohocton River. Please RSVP by getting a Free Ticket so that we have a head count for buying food.
Before the picnic we will be holding a One Fly Challenge in the morning. See the latest edition of Tight Lines for the details. Contact Kurt Charland at 33Canuck@gmail.com if you would like to participate.
We will also be picking the winning tickets for our annual Picnic fundraiser. The grand prize is a Redington 7 1/2' 4wt Butter Stick outfit, which would be perfect for "Blue Lining" our smaller creeks. Tickets are $20 each and the last chance to buy them will be at the picnic. You do not have to be present to win.
Other prizes include a Gift Certificate from the Foot Performance Center for a pair of OBOZ Sawtooth hiking boots with two pairs of Darn Tough socks, and a $200 gift certificate for polarized sunglasses from Aberle Eye Care. All together we have over $1000 worth of prizes.
