This will be an indoor/outdoor event.  Dress for the weather.
Lunch for all participants at noon and afternoon clinic 1-4

*** The clinic is free, but registration is required, as space is limited **

This will be an exciting and new offering for not only beginning female fly fishers but those who have already entered our exciting sport. The majority of the afternoon will be spent casting with approximately one hour indoors discussing the basics.  The schedule will be lunch at 12-1, classroom instruction 1-2 and casting on the fields 2-4.

We will then split the group into two; beginners who have never cast before and those already capable. Many intermediate and advanced fly casters find it helpful to go over the basics to refine the fundamentals before moving on to advanced skills.

No matter what skill level, all women are welcome! NO experience is required.

Casting Instruction by Captain Ryan Sansoucy

About the instructor:
Captain Ryan Sansoucy has been fishing since he was a young boy at the age of 9 as a self-taught fly fisherman. His passion for guiding & teaching others supersedes his own personal enjoyment of fishing himself. For Ryan, a good day on the water is not always about catching the biggest fish, but teaching an angler how to cast better, read the environment, and further understand the water and species you are fishing for. Helping someone escape from the insanity and pace of this modern world by getting them in touch with the ocean or river and the beauty of creation is a principle of Ryan’s services.

The clinic is limited to 24 spots, so rsvp soon if you are interested.  CCTU members and friends, feel free to share this flyer with spouses, daughters or friends that might have an interest.  This is open to all women, not just members of TU.
