Join Chris Wood, President & CEO, and Lindsay Slater, Vice President for Government Affairs, for a continuing conversation and update on federal actions - such as the recent funding pauses - and anticipated decisions on issues ranging from public lands protections to oil, gas, timber and critical minerals extraction. The talk will cover how these actions may impact TU's work, contractors, employees, and on-the-ground partners as well as how local chapters and state councils can get involved.
This will be an update on the discussion from the March 4 town hall conversation and is open to all TU volunteer leaders in our chapters and councils across the country.
Trout Unlimited leverages federal funding to restore trout and salmon habitat, while also creating clean water and lasting economic growth to communities throughout the United States. Our restoration work injects millions of dollars into local economies, supports small businesses, boosts tourism, and ensures that healthy communities thrive alongside healthy rivers and streams.
