Whiskey Creek Embrace-A-Stream Challenge

The Shenandoah Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited (TU) was awarded a national TU Embrace-A-Stream (EAS) Grant this year for our Whiskey Creek Restoration Project. Help support our work on Whiskey Creek and our surrounding area by donating to our EAS Challenge Fundraiser!

 

Even small donations make a big difference!  National TU is challenging our local chapter by offering to match every donation of $10 or more.  If we receive 50 donations of at least $10, we'll get an extra $500 to use towards Whiskey Creek.  That means we'll have more funds to support the Trout-In-The-Classroom program at Churchville Elementary School as well as improving stream and riparian habitat along the creek.

 

Here's the key part - the donations MUST be received during the week of Giving Tuesday (December 1).  Specifically, the window to donate opens on Monday, November 30, and closes on Sunday, December 6, at midnight.  Use the Donate link on this page during that window and your contribution will qualify us for the challenge match!
