TU’s Northeast Conservation Staff has welcomed a key role player to the team, Jon C. Vander Werff. Jon is a bright and passionate Connecticut fisheries professional who will help TU orchestrate the 2025 Cannondale Dam removal on the Norwalk River.As an initial welcome, we’ll be taking a Norwalk River streamside walk with Jon and Mianus TU President Gerald Berrafati. The group will be meeting at Jensen Field in Ridgefield at 1pm on February 22nd. After the walk, we will warm up with some coffee at Ridgefield Vintage & Coffee just down the road. Be sure to dress warmly and feel free to prepare any questions you might have for Jon on the upcoming Cannondale Dam removal!
