Monthly Meeting: Matt Supinski

Matt has been guiding his amazing waters in Michigan for 37 years. He was blessed with his fly fishing passion in his youth growing up fishing in the Great Lakes of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie watersheds of his youth in Niagara; and Lake Huron watershed rivers at his families’ summer home from six years old. Those early years, along with living latter as a boy in the Baltic Corridor of Poland and its wonderful trout and salmon rivers that ran through his families’ farm, molded him to embrace and chase these fish his whole life.

Today and for the past 34 years he has lived and guided and fished on the amazing waters of the Lake Michigan and Lake Superior rivers and streams, thus coming full circle in his inland sea and rivers passion of the greatest freshwater trout, salmon and steelhead wonderland on the planet.

In addition to his guiding and fly fishing travel around the world from his previous career of being a corporate hotelier/chef, he has authored 6 books, with titles like:
