Washington State Council Annual Meeting - September 17, 2022 in person Ellensburg WA. Plan to attend this FUN event with Volunteers from around the state.  This is a great time to get energized and learn some new techniques for revitalizing your chapters!!

Volunteer leaders from every chapter and the council are encouraged to attend. Chapter leaders, if you cannot make this meeting please send two delegates to represent your chapter and vote on important issues.  In order to pass important state work such as Bylaws update we must have 50% of chapters present to represent a quorum.

Chapters will give a brief update on what they are doing; council chairs and leaders will also give updates.  We will have two WA state TU staff guest speakers, Alexei Calambokidis (Washington State Conservation Manager_ and Crystal Elliot (Washington State Habitat Director).  The afternoon will feature two break out sessions called "Make & Take".  These are designed to give you real information you can take home to put into action for building and revitalizing your chapter and make your chapter more diverse and inclusive. We have Maggie Heumann TU Volunteer Operations Manager coming to lead the session on Revitalizing your chapters and Penny Mabie our own State Council DEI Chair & Judy Larson will lead the session on how to make your chapter more diverse and inclusive.
We are super excited to be meeting in person and we hope to see you all there!!

Friday Night - 9/16/2022 for people arriving early we will be meeting at the Palace Cafe 323 N Main St Ellensburg, WA 98926 from
5-7pm for No Host-  food, fun, drinks and conversation.  We have a room reserved, so just say you're with Trout Unlimited when you enter the restaurant and they will guide you to the room.

Please RSVP to <council@washingtontu.org> for the Friday Night meet up so we can update the restaurant on numbers ASAP.
