The Tie-a-thon will kick off the 17th Annual Tie-a-thon by holding a recipient announcement party
and fundraising raffle. The event will be held from 12:00-2:00pm EST at the Elkhart Conservation
Club. The event will be live-streamed via Facebook and Instagram. Light food and soft drinks will be
served. Attendees are welcome to BYOB.
Raffle items include an engraved Winston Air 2, 9 ft, 5 wgt fly fishing rod, a Fishpond Cutbank Gear
Bag, and a framed print of the 2022 T-shirt art work.
Only 200 tickets will be sold at $25.00 each. Tickets can be purchased via check, cash or debit card.
Winners do not need to be present at the event. The recipient(s) of the 2023 Tie-a-thon campaign
as well as the new artwork will be revealed at the event. Once again, board member Andy Kitson
and proprietor of Amish Trout Outfitters will be creating an original piece. Anyone who ties 100 flies
will receive a t-shirt with his artwork. All proceeds go towards Tie-a-thon operations, largely the
production and mailing of the t-shirts. Additional funds underwrite the culmination luncheon in April.
The Tie-a-thon board is fully voluntary and receives no funding.

3rd prize
A 12x12 inch print of the popular artwork from the 2022 Tie-a-thon
campaign. The colorful artwork features a woman fly angler against a scenic mountain stream
backdrop. This original work is by Tie-a-thon artist Andy Kitson of Amish Trout Outfitters, who has
created beautiful artwork for each campaign.
